How do webinars work?
FMS webinars are live online learning. To participate in a live webinar, all you need is a computer, an Internet connection, a Web Browser and a telephone. The computer and Internet connection will deliver the video portion of the demonstration and the telephone will provide the audio portion. Webinars allow you to gain the knowledge you need without ever having to leave the office.
What is included with registration to a live webinar?
Registration to the live session includes one telephone connection, one online connection, cpe credit for registrant, unlimited non-cpe attendance and permission to reproduce the handouts and other written material for additional attendees at your location. Only registered attendees of the live session can obtain CPE credit. Attendees of FMS live webinars also receive two views of the On-Demand version of the program they attend. Use this bonus feature to share the program with colleagues or as a refresher at a later date. Instructions for viewing the on-demand session will be emailed to you at the conclusion of the live event.
What is included with the CD-Rom?
Purchase of the CD-Rom includes a copy of all webinar materials in an easy to use box-set featuring an audio only CD, an interactive CD-Rom of both the audio and video recording, and a resource CD-Rom containing all handout materials.
What is included with On-Demand?
Purchase the On-Demand option and receive instant access to the recording online. In addition to playing the recorded content, this interactive feature includes links to all handouts and resources and is available 24/7, from any computer. Registration to On-Demand webinars include up to ten views in one year.
Can my colleagues attend the live webinar with me?
Additional participants from your institution can join in on the learning for no additional cost by listening to the audio portion with you on speaker phone and watching on your computer screen. Host a webinar in your conference room and project the video portion for presentations to larger groups. Although there is no limit on how many people can join you at no additional fee, only the individual registered is eligible for CPE credits. Discounted rates (equivalent to 50% off the normal registration rate) are available for additional registrants, from the same institution, who want CPE credit.
How do I register additional attendees from my institution or order the CD-Rom or On-Demand at the discounted rate?
To register additional participants from your institution or purchase a copy of the CD-Rom or On-Demand at half price, simply forward your original order confirmation (for one full price registration) and a request for the number of discount codes needed to webinars@fmsinc.org . The discount codes you receive will only be valid for registrants from your organization and cannot be used for any other program other than the one you have originally purchased. Discounted registrations are only available once a full price registration from your institution has been made.
Can I listen to a session more than once?
Yes. If you registered to attend the live Webinar, you'll have the opportunity to view the recorded version of the program online twice at no charge. Use this bonus feature to share the program with colleagues or as a refresher at a later date. Instructions for viewing the on-demand session will be emailed to you at the conclusion of the live event.
If you registered for the On-Demand version, you will be able to view the program up to ten (10) times in one year. Enjoy all the viewings yourself or share your access link with coworkers and staff.
If you purchased the CD-Rom, you can enjoy unlimited viewing.
How can I get my specific question answered?
Live FMS webinars allow for interaction with presenters during designated Q&A breaks. During these breaks you can ask your question live over the phone, or via an "instant message" chat box. As either an attendee, or purchaser of the recorded session, you'll also receive instructions on where to direct your questions after the program.
Can I get CPE credit?
Each webinar date is 100 minutes in length and equivalent to 2 CPE credit hours. Registrants can earn up to 2 CPE credit hours for each live date attended. CPE is not available for self-study and cannot be earned by viewing the CD-Rom or On-Demand. Only registered attendees of the live webinar are eligible for CPE. Discounted rates (equivalent to 50% off the normal registration rate) are available for additional registrants, from the same institution, who also want CPE credit.
When is the latest I can register for a webinar?
Registration to the live webinar is open until 10 a.m. EST the day of the program. Registration for the CD-Rom or On-Demand is available anytime before or after a live event.
How long do I have to wait to receive my order?
If you ordered the CD-Rom box-set, your order will be shipped 14 business days after the live event or after the order date if the event has already occurred. If you ordered the On-Demand, you will immediately receive instructions for accessing the content online.
What is the refund policy?
Webinars are Satisfaction-Guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with the education and content presented during a webinar you've registered for, just send an email to webinars@fmsinc.org and include a brief overview of the material/content you are looking for. Not only will we refund your entire registration fee, but we will also try to match an appropriate resource to your needs.
For schedule conflicts and other reasons of non-attendance, webinar registrations are non-refundable. Registrants who do not attend the live online program will automatically be given access to the recording On-Demand.
